In Physiotherapists by Huw Jones

Maisie graduated with a Bachelors of Honours degree in Physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes University in 2022.

Since graduating she has worked within the NHS on a rotational scheme broadening her experience in various fields from musculoskeletal issues to medical and surgical rehabilitation, changing departments and teams every 6 months to gain further experience. Alongside working in the NHS Maisie has been supporting a local rugby club with pitch side first aid and drop in physiotherapy clinics, offering physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans as well as sports massage. Both the NHS and sporting experiences have shaped an interest in Musculoskeletal injuries from the non sporting and sporting sector and pre and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Maisie is motivated to assist those who require physiotherapy by working together to set clear goals ofr treatment and recovery and utilising a variety of treatment methods, education and treatment modalities to achieve those goals. This will allow the client to complete everyday activities with ease and higher functioning sporting activities as desired. It is important to Maisie that people feel well informed and are clear of what steps are required to achieve their desired goals.

Beyond working life, Maisie enjoys keeping active within the gym.
